A temporary pause to our Walmart Pincher Creek delivery service
At CNP Doorstep, we regularly review our delivery routes and services to make sure we can provide reliable and sustainable service to our customers.
After careful consideration, we have decided to temporarily pause our Walmart Pincher Creek delivery service until further notice.
Thursday, August 27, 2026, was our last Walmart Pincher Creek delivery for the time being.
Why are we pausing the service?
Over the past several weeks, we have seen lower demand and fewer orders for Walmart Pincher Creek deliveries.
At the same time, our delivery volume within the Crowsnest Pass has been growing, keeping our drivers busy with local restaurant, grocery, pharmacy, convenience and other delivery requests.
Because we are a small local team, having a dedicated driver available for the Pincher Creek run every Thursday has become increasingly difficult. Rather than continue offering a scheduled service that we may not always be able to staff reliably, we believe temporarily pausing the route is the right decision for both our customers and our team.
Our Crowsnest Pass delivery service continues
This change does not affect our regular CNP Doorstep delivery services within the Crowsnest Pass.
We remain committed to serving our local community with convenient doorstep delivery, including:
- 🍔 Restaurant takeout & Alcohol orders
- 🛒 Grocery and essential items
- 💊 Pharmacy items
- 🏪 Convenience store items
- 🛍️ Local shopping and custom deliveries
- 🚗 Other local delivery requests
Our regular delivery hours continue as usual.
Will Walmart Pincher Creek deliveries return?
This is a temporary pause, not necessarily a permanent cancellation.
We will continue monitoring customer demand and driver availability. If demand increases and we are able to establish a reliable driver schedule for Pincher Creek again, we will reconsider restarting the service.
If we bring the Walmart Pincher Creek route back, we will announce the update through our website and social media pages.
