Welcome to CNP Doorstep, a locally operated grocery delivery service based in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta.

By accessing and using our website, services, and applications, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our service. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

1. Service Description
CNP Doorstep is an independent shopping and delivery service operating in Crowsnest Pass & nearby town. We are not a grocery store, retailer, or reseller affiliated with any supermarket, retailer, or brand. All purchases are made and supplied directly by CNP Doorstep for the purpose of order fulfillment.

2. Orders and Pricing
Prices listed on our website are an estimate only, not exact store price and may differ from retail store prices. Prices on the receipts reflect the cost of goods plus our shopping, handling, and delivery services. Prices are subject to change without notice due to in-store fluctuations. Don’t worry we will provide you the original store receipt, you pay store price plus our delivery fees.

3. Payment
We accept digital payments via Debit/Credit cards, Interac e-Transfer and Cash on Delivery. Whatever works best for you.

4. Delivery Area
We currently deliver to Crowsnest Pass (Blairmore, Bellevue, Hillcrest, Coleman, Frank).

5. Delivery Timeframe
Same-day or next-day delivery may be available depending on order volume and store availability. Customers will be contacted with estimated delivery time after order confirmation via text or email notification. We will try our best to provide same day delivery if you order before 4 PM.

6. Refunds & Cancellations
All sales are final once the order has been placed and items have been picked up. Cancellations can be made up to 1 hour after the order is placed. Refunds will not be issued for changes in price or product availability. If an item is unavailable, we may contact you for substitution approval or remove the item and adjust your total.

7. Limitation of Liability
CNP Doorstep is not liable for delays, unavailability of products, or issues beyond our control. We make no warranties regarding specific retailers, products, or brands. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim any liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Delivery Delays & Cancellations
CNP Doorstep prioritizes the safety of our drivers and customers. Deliveries may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled without prior notice in the event of severe weather conditions (including snowstorms, icy roads, or heavy rainfall), highway closures, natural disasters, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If a delivery must be cancelled, customers will be notified as soon as possible, and we will work with you to arrange an alternative delivery time or provide a refund where applicable. CNP Doorstep will not be held liable for any inconvenience, loss, or damages resulting from such delays or cancellations.

9. Delivery & Handling Charges
Our delivery fees are set based on current fuel prices and operational costs. CNP Doorstep reserves the right to adjust delivery charges at any time to ensure efficient and sustainable operations. Any updated fees will be reflected on our website before you place your order.

10. Receiving Your Delivery
We want your groceries to reach you safe! Please try to be home during your delivery window. If you can’t be there, let us know ahead of time and we’ll do our best to work with you. If groceries are left at your doorstep, please note we can’t guarantee their safety from weather or wildlife once delivered. Additional fees may apply for re-delivery attempts.

11. Food Allergy Disclaimer
We handle all orders with care and keep items separate to avoid cross-contact. However, we cannot guarantee that products have not come into contact with allergens before pickup from the store. Customers should always check product labels and ingredients before use.

12. Order Weight & Bulk Limits
CNP Doorstep reserves the right to limit orders based on size and weight. For example, we may not be able to deliver excessively heavy or bulk items (e.g., large quantities of milk, cases of water, or 300 lbs of potatoes).

At our discretion, we may deny delivery of certain items or adjust the delivery fee to reflect the handling required. In such cases, we will contact you to discuss options, which may include modifying the order, charging an additional fee, or cancelling the order with a refund.

13. Religious & Cultural Food Preferences
We respect religious and cultural needs. We always do our best to keep sensitive food items separate in different bags. Since groceries come directly from the retailer, we can’t guarantee how they were handled before pickup, but we take care during delivery.


2. Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 1 hour of placing the order. After 1 hour, the order is considered confirmed and will be processed for shopping and delivery.

2. Item Availability
If a product is out of stock, we will contact you with options: substitute, remove and refund, or no replacement. If we cannot reach you, we’ll use our best judgment.

3. Refunds
We do not accept returns of perishable or opened items. Refund decisions are at the sole discretion of CNP Doorstep.

Refunds are only issued if:

  • An item is unavailable and not replaced
  • We cancel your delivery due to disruptions
  • You cancel within the allowed window
    Refunds will not be issued for price differences.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items
Report issues within 24 hours of delivery. We may issue a partial refund or redelivery based on the case.

3. Disclaimer Statement

CNP Doorstep operates solely as an independent personal shopping and delivery service. We are not a grocery store, retailer, or reseller of products. We are also not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any grocery store, supermarket, or brand whose products may be shown, referenced, or purchased on behalf of our customers.

When you place an order through CNP Doorstep, you are authorizing us to act as your personal shopper. Our role is to purchase products from third‑party retailers on your behalf and deliver them to your doorstep. You are not purchasing these products from CNP Doorstep, but rather paying for our time, effort, shopping, and delivery services.

All product names, trademarks, service marks, images, and logos remain the exclusive property of their respective owners. Any references on our site are made strictly for descriptive and identification purposes only.

Prices listed on our website may differ from in‑store or advertised prices. These price differences include our service fees for shopping, handling, and delivery.

By using our service, you acknowledge and agree that CNP Doorstep is acting solely as your independent agent for shopping and delivery, and not as a representative, partner, or agent of any retailer or brand.
